They did put him on IR when Nix injured his knee. Then after 4 weeks, they took him off and he backed up D'Orazio. D'Orazio got hurt and they put him back in. Do you remember that Cleveland game on the last drive, Ari Wolfe said that Tony could not stand on his leg?

There is also some strange rule where if you say that a player is done done, you lose that player's roster spot. Hence, the reason they put him on for 4 weeks.

How come the team did not put Graz on the IR when Nix first injured his knee? Why take a chance? Matt was doing just fine and we should have picked up another QB.
